Washington County 4-H Summer programs are open to all Washington County youth and current Wash Co NC 4-H’ers. The Eventbrite Registration Link is now LIVE!

Discovery Tuesdays are for youth ages 5 – 8 and Explorer Wednesdays are for youth ages 9 – 13. Please only register youth for their age group!! Class names are the same, but the activities are designed for each specific age group. Registration fees cover the cost of lunch, a snack, and supplies.

While you wait for the link to release, please register your child in our FREE 4-H Online 2.0 system! This is our online enrollment system and is REQUIRED for your child to participate.

Discovery Tuesdays

Ages: 5 – 8 | Cost: $20/per class

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

July 5: Peace, Love, & Fun (Do to an emergency, this has been rescheduled to Monday, August 1)

Welcome back & welcome to the barn! Join us as we explore the world of 4-H and all the fun it has to offer! From tie-dying to knot tying, origami to hand sewing, geocaching to geodes. 4-H has something for everyone!

July 12: Get Up & Grow!

Pollinators to plants – Let’s explore the world of gardening together!

July 26: Nature Adventures

Black Bears, O’possums, & Whitetail Deer – oh my! Come join us for a jam-packed day of wildlife and environmental exploration! From track ID to leaving no trace, we will all be better environmental stewards by the end of the day!

August 2: It’s S.T.E.A.M.sational!

Science | Technology | Engineering | Art | Math

What interests you?! Come spend the day with us and find out!

August 9: Get Up & Grow 2.0!

Join us as we wrap up our groovy summer exploring farm to fork and healthy living!
