"Time to Move - Find your Groove" is about making movement an intentional part of your day doing something you enjoy!


Maybe you already walk daily. That's great!! Keep it up.


Benefits of walking include:

  • Maintain a healthy weight and lose body fat.
  • Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer and type 2 diabetes
  • Improve cardiovascular fitness
  • Strengthen your bones and muscles

Best part...it costs nothing. All you need is a good pair of tennis shoes.


But walking is not the only way to move and maybe walking isn't your thing. It's time to take a moment and figure out what it is that you enjoy doing. Enjoying what you do makes things fun and if it's fun then why not do it. No blame, no shame just find your groove!


Once you register you'll become a part of a networking/community support group that finds strength in numbers to achieve a goal. There will be opportunities to share ideas, post images, contests and drawings for participation and much more!
