  2. Desiccation at R7 did not affect protein and oil yield while R6.5 desiccation reduced protein and oil yield
  3. Desiccation allowed for 15 day earlier harvest in comparison with untreated control
  4. Greater reduction in green stem incidence from desiccation in comparison with the untreated control
