Announcements Hertford County Agricultural Enhancement Fund Byron Simonds has worked as the Extension Agricultural Agent in Hertford County for 27 years. He has been The “GO TO” person for Agricultural questions. He has provided production information and been the economic advisor for agriculture in Hertford County. He gave leadership to the removal of pesticide containers in the county and was a genuine friend to both farmers and the agribusiness community. Agriculture is a very strong and important industry in Hertford County and Byron has been a strong source of support for 27 years. As a supporter of the outstanding leadership that Byron Simonds has provided as Extension Agricultural Agent and upon the occasion of his retirement, please join in helping grow this Hertford County Enhancement Fund to honor Byron and support future educational efforts in agriculture. 2010 4-H Summer Camp Camp Dates: July 4 – 9, 2010 It is time to register for 4-H camp. Please click to see the flyer for complete information. Hertford County has limited spaces. In order to reserve your slot you will need to send in your camp registration along with your $50 deposit. There may be a limited number of scholarships if funds are available. A scholarship request form must be completed. The $50 deposit is still required. If you have any questions call the office at (252) 358-7822.
