Collapse ▲The time to start thinking about renewing your pesticide license and looking into your credit values is upon us. The date for renewal and making sure your credit values are up to date has been moved to November 30, from its normal date of September 30, 2020.
The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has an online database where any license holder can look up their license specifications including the certification expiration date, credit amount, license status, etc. This database can be found at: NCDA&CS License Search
For any private pesticide applicator license, you must have 2 V credits and 2 X credits by the certification expiration date. Due to COVID-19, many pesticide continuing education courses have been switched to an online format making them more convenient to take. There is an online calendar of approved continuing education courses for all of the various pesticide categories. You can visit this page and view when and where, whether in-person or virtually, that classes are being held and register for them. This calendar can be found at: Online Pesticide Course Calendar
