The 2022 CHROME Regional Ag Expo was held on August 16th, at the Peanut Belt Research Station in Bertie County. The event started with a trade show with educational booths and vendors displaying their products followed by field tours with presentations from NC State University Extension Agents and Specialists focusing on corn, cotton, peanut, and soybean production practices. There were a total of 86 participants. A special thank you to the NC Department of Agriculture & their staff at the Peanut Belt Research Station for helping to host the event, the Agribusinesses who sponsored, and everyone who attended! Below you will find links to an impact report from the field day and information about the research featured on the tours. Stay tuned for yield results following harvest.
